Generation 1 Woodlin windows were manufactured from about 1945 until 1954, Woodlin generation 2 Woodlin windows were manufactured from 1953 to 1959. To distinguish between Generation 1 and Generation 2 windows, note the aluminum glazing channel that holds the glass in place. Generation 1 windows had a "U" shaped channel for holding the glass in place. Generation 2 windows did not have a "U" shaped channel.

The backframe has been recreated by using original gaskets as a reference and fit checking using original windows to verify form, fit, and function.
